Jesse Stone: Night Passage

Former Los Angeles homicide detective Jesse Stone (Tom Selleck) is hired as police chief of the small coastal town of Paradise, Massachusetts, despite being a drunk and a loser, in a move orchestrated by corrupt banker Hastings "Hasty" Hathaway to keep him from digging too deep into the town's secrets. As Jesse investigates the murder of his predecessor, he uncovers connections to money laundering and corruption involving some of the town's most affluent names. With the help of Officer Molly Crane (Viola Davis), Jesse navigates a web of deceit and harassment from local thug Joe Genest (Stephen Baldwin) as he works to solve the case and bring justice to the small town.
