Map of the Human Heart

The film "Map of the Human Heart" (1992) tells the story of Avik, a Canadian Inuk boy, and his life-long love for Albertine, whom he meets at a Montreal hospital where she is also being treated for tuberculosis. As an adult, Avik joins the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II and becomes embroiled in a tragic love triangle with Albertine and Walter Russell, a man who has been like a surrogate father to him since childhood.
