Embers

In a post-apocalyptic future, five interwoven stories explore different facets of life without memory, where those who remain suffer from lasting effects of a global neurological epidemic that caused retrograde and anterograde amnesia. The film follows Guy (Jason Ritter), Girl (Iva Gocheva), Miranda (Greta Fernández), Teacher (Tucker Smallwood), and Chaos (Karl Glusman) as they navigate a decaying landscape, unable to recall the past or create new memories. Set in a world without memory, Embers examines the human condition through its ensemble cast of characters grappling with their lost identities.
