Biography

Tucker Smallwood is a veteran actor and author of African American heritage, born on February 22, 1944. He served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army's Airborne Infantry from 1967 to 1970, including a critical injury during the Vietnam War that led to his temporary death before recovery. After studying acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City, Smallwood established a successful career in film and television, often playing military characters.
