A sinister revenge tale unfolds in this 1936 horror film, directed by Tod Browning and starring Lionel Barrymore. After being wrongly convicted of bank robbery and murder, Paul Lavond escapes prison and discovers a scientist's formula to shrink humans to mere inches tall, allowing him to exact painful revenge on those who framed him. Lavond, consumed by hatred, uses the serum to target his former associates, slowly gaining justice for himself and vindicating his estranged daughter's happiness along the way. The film's eerie use of miniature effects adds to its chilling atmosphere.
