Lucky Jordan

Alan Ladd stars as Lucky Jordan, a self-centered gangster who tangles with Nazi spies in this 1942 drama. When he's drafted into the army, Jordan tries to escape duty by using an old con woman named Annie to convince the draft board he's needed at home. Character Helen Walker plays Jill Evans, the beautiful USO worker who becomes Jordan's hostage and unwittingly helps him evade capture.
