High, Wide and Handsome

In 1870s Pennsylvania, a traveling medicine show stops in a small town, where its wagon catches fire, stranding Sally Waterson and her father. Taken in by Mrs. Cortlandt and her grandson Peter, who is trying to set up a pipeline to supply oil throughout the state, Sally and Peter soon fall in love and marry amidst the rugged landscape of the American frontier, as the town's residents successfully build their own pipeline against railroad tycoons and corporate thugs.
