Love and Bullets

Veteran agent Charlie Congers is tasked to assist the FBI in bringing a gangster's girlfriend, Jackie Pruitt, back to the USA to testify, but when it becomes apparent that she knows almost nothing about her mobster boyfriend, Congers falls in love with her and vows to protect her from his hitmen. Bomposa decides it would be more convenient to have Jackie out of the way, ordering her execution, and Congers is left to hunt down the men responsible for her murder.
