The Spider

In this 1958 sci-fi horror film, teenagers and their high school science teacher join forces to battle a giant mutant spider terrorizing a small town nearby. After Jack Flynn's car accident leads to his gruesome discovery in a cave, the group uses DDT to flush out and kill the massive arachnid. But when they bring it back to the high school gym for study, the music awakens the spider, setting off a chain of deadly events that threaten to consume the entire town.
