Chain of Fools

In "Chain of Fools," Detective Kresk (Steve Zahn) is assigned to investigate the theft of precious coins, which land in the hands of a suicidal barber named Avnet (Jeff Goldblum). As Kresk delves deeper into the case, he must navigate his own personal struggles and team up with Sgt. Meredith Kolko (Salma Hayek Pinault), who becomes his love interest. Alongside hit man Mikey (Elijah Wood) and a cast of eccentric characters, Kresk embarks on a wild chase to recover the stolen coins.
