A charming and eccentric German hitman, Toni Ricardelli (Rick Kavanian), assumes the identity of a recently assassinated author to woo his editor, Julia Steffens (Nora Tschirner). As their relationship blossoms, Julia's fiancé, Bob Kimbel (Janek Rieke), encourages her to travel to Italy to persuade the author, Enrico Puzzo (Franco Nero), to rewrite a tell-all book. Meanwhile, mafia boss Salvatore Marino seeks Ricardelli's death, and Toni must navigate his new life while outsmarting his enemies.
