In a bizarre twist of canine destiny, an intergalactic dog pilot from Sirius (the dog star) visits Earth to verify rumors that dogs have failed to take over the planet, only to discover a group of neighborhood dogs who are struggling to fulfill their ancient destiny as rulers of the world. Along with his ragtag pack of canine friends, including a pampered Poodle, a rambunctious Boxer, and a gassy Bernese Mountain Dog, Owen must navigate the complexities of human-canine relationships and confront the reality that dogs are actually pets on this planet. As Hubble's mission to prepare Earth dogs for their recall is put in jeopardy, Owen and his dog form an unbreakable bond, challenging everything they thought they knew about loyalty, love, and what it means to be a true friend.
