Biography
Brittany Anne Murphy-Monjack was an American actress and singer, known for her roles in Clueless (1995) as Tai Frasier, Girl, Interrupted (1999) as Daisy Randone, and 8 Mile (2002) as Alex Latourno. She began her acting career at 13 and made her Broadway debut in Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge in 1997. Murphy gained critical acclaim for her performance in 8 Mile and went on to appear in various films throughout the 2000s.
