In this powerful drama, country music legend Otis "Bad" Blake, played by Jeff Bridges, is a 57-year-old alcoholic singer-songwriter on the brink of self-destruction. After meeting young journalist Jean Craddock and her four-year-old son Buddy, Blake begins to reconnect with his past and reevaluate his life, finding an unlikely catalyst for redemption in their relationship.
