Fright Night is a 1985 American supernatural horror film that follows teenager Charley Brewster as he discovers that his new next-door neighbor Jerry Dandrige is a vampire. After no one believes him, Charley turns to Peter Vincent, a TV show host who acted in films as a vampire hunter, for help. The unlikely duo must stop Jerry's killing spree and ultimately destroy the undead neighbor with the power of sunlight. With its blend of action, comedy, fantasy, horror, and thriller elements, Fright Night has become a cult classic, known for its tongue-in-cheek humor and thrilling sequences that still pack a fright factor today.
