Biography

Arthur James "Art" Evans was an American actor who began his career with Frank Silvera's Theater of Being in Los Angeles and took a starring role in the Broadway production of "The Amen Corner" in 1965. He later appeared in notable roles such as Blind Lemon Jefferson in "Leadbelly," Leslie Barnes in "Die Hard 2: Die Harder," and Wilkie in the African-American drama "A Soldier's Story."
