During a time of terror in Los Angeles, a kindly elderly lady provides room and board to a nomad who turns out to be a werewolf, responsible for recent animal attack murders. When the elderly woman is bitten, she transforms into a hungry werewolf, forcing her adult son to try and prevent both of them from causing further harm. Clay Dwyer (Mark Thomas Miller), a young journalist, must now navigate his family's situation and find a way to stop the werewolf, which he unwittingly turned his mother into.
