In 1934, the lucrative numbers game in Harlem is threatened by Dutch Schultz's invasion. As Ellsworth "Bumpy" Johnson returns to his old haunts after a stint in prison, he must navigate the treacherous world of gangsters and crime lords to protect his cousin's business and his own life. With violence escalating and alliances shifting, Bumpy finds himself at war with Schultz, who will stop at nothing to claim Harlem's numbers game for himself.
