Paradise Lagoon

In 1905, William Crichton is butler to the Earl of Loam and his family. When the yacht's motors explode during a storm, all are forced to abandon ship and land on a deserted island. The aristocrats prove helpless in their new surroundings, while Crichton, Eliza, the Earl, and others find themselves relying on him for survival. As time passes, the social order is upended: Crichton becomes governor of the island, and his former betters are his servants.
