How to Build a Better Boy

Two social outcasts, Mae and Gabby, inadvertently create a high-tech government computer that outputs the qualities of the ideal boyfriend, leading to the emergence of Albert, a cybernetic sweetheart who treats Mae like royalty but has only one directive: to treat her to the perfect high school romance. As Albert becomes an overnight sensation at school, his creators must navigate the chaos he causes while trying to prevent General McFee and the U.S. Army from retrieving him. Along the way, Mae and Gabby learn valuable lessons about friendship, love, and being true to oneself.
