The Jungle Book

In the 2016 Disney live-action remake of "The Jungle Book", a young boy named Mowgli lives among wolves in the jungles of 1890s India, where he is cared for by Akela's pack after being orphaned as an infant. When Shere Khan threatens to kill him, Bagheera volunteers to guide Mowgli to a nearby man-village, but their journey is fraught with danger from the vengeful tiger and other jungle creatures, including the seductive snake Kaa and the deranged giant ape King Louie. Along the way, Mowgli forms unlikely friendships with Baloo the bear and learns valuable lessons about identity, belonging, and survival, ultimately deciding to stay in the jungle and protect it from those who would harm it, including Shere Khan.
