Burke & Hare

In Edinburgh, 1828, two men, Burke and Hare, go into business supplying medical colleges with cadavers by robbing graves to meet the demand for fresh corpses in Dr. Robert Knox's anatomical lectures. The doctors dine together and drink wine, while the poor live in dirty hovels and grave robbers are a reality. The pair is paid £7 10s for their first body and claim they've robbed it, leading them to murder poorer people who might have died of natural causes.
