"Bobi Wine: The People's President" is a 2022 Ugandan-British-American documentary film that chronicles Bobi Wine's presidential campaign as he challenges long-time ruler Yoweri Museveni. The film follows Bobi Wine and his wife Barbie Kyagulanyi, who are stirred by Uganda's young population and anti-democratic government. Despite facing crackdowns, arrests, beatings, torture, riots, and raids orchestrated by Museveni, the couple survives to continue their fight for democracy.
