Carry on England

During World War II, Captain S Melly takes over at an experimental mixed-sex air defence base in England, where he faces a challenge from Sergeant Major "Tiger" Bloomer and other women in uniform, who are more interested in each other than the enemy planes above. As Captain Melly tries to put an end to this, he becomes the target of a campaign to abandon his separatist ideals. The battery's antics eventually help them win a real air raid, with Captain Melly's two sprained fingers becoming a symbol of victory for the entire war.
