Born in Brooklyn to Palestinian refugee parents, Soraya sets out on a journey to reclaim her family's home and money frozen in a Jaffa bank account since 1948, navigating a complicated landscape that takes her further from her comfort zone than she ever imagined. This poignant drama tells the story of an American-born Palestinian woman's quest to reconnect with her roots, featuring Suheir Hammad as Soraya and a breakout performance by Saleh Bakri in his first Arab film role.
