Destiny: The Tale of Kamakura

In the vibrant town of Kamakura, where fantastical creatures coexist with humans, a publishing assistant named Akiko (Mitsuki Takahata) and her husband Masakazu (Masato Sakai), a popular mystery writer, settle into their new life together. However, when Akiko's spirit is swept to the underworld, Masakazu embarks on a perilous journey to bring her back, navigating the town's mystical forces. Along the way, he teams up with Honda and faces the Grim Reaper (Sakura Ando), in this adaptation of Ryōhei Saigan's manga about love, mystery, and the afterlife.
