Sakura Ando is a Japanese actress born on February 18, 1986, to actor/director Okuda Eiji and celebrity Kazu Ando. She began her acting career at age five after watching her father perform on stage, and gained recognition for her role in Sion Sono's film Love Exposure (2010), which earned her the Best Supporting Actress award at the 31st Yokohama Film Festival. Her performance in Hirokazu Koreeda's Shoplifters (2018) solidified her status as a top young actress in Japan, earning her the Best Actress award at the 42nd Japan Academy Prize.
