In wartime America, a pair of con artists, disguised as musicians, team up to peddle a questionable energy drink, only to find themselves on the side of justice when they unwittingly aid a young woman in recovering her swindled family's funds - with Laurel and Hardy bringing their signature brand of slapstick comedy and musical mayhem along for the ride.
