Unlikely Angel

Dolly Parton stars as Ruby Diamond, a country singer who dies prematurely but must perform a good deed on Earth to enter heaven. She reunites an estranged suburban family, including Allison Mack's Sarah Bartilson and Eli Marienthal's Matthew Bartilson, whose father Brian Kerwin plays Ben Bartilson, a widower trying to bring his children together after the death of their mother. With the help of Saint Peter (Roddy McDowall), Ruby succeeds in reuniting the family by Christmas Eve, earning her wings as an angel.
