Moral follows the lives of four college friends, Joey, Kathy, Sylvia, and Maritess, as they navigate their sexual and professional desires in contemporary times in the Philippines during the incipient martial law years. As they graduate from college, they face various challenges, including drug addiction, marriage troubles, postpartum depression, and struggles with gender inequality. Through their experiences, the film explores taboo topics such as abortion, rape, and same-sex relationships, offering a glimpse into the lives of women in a tumultuous era.
