In this surrealist comedy-drama, Alejandro Martinez, a young and idealistic Salvadoran toy designer, embarks on a series of misadventures in New York City as he navigates his precarious immigration status. With his unique ideas for toys and his passion for design, Alejandro finds himself entangled with an eccentric art-world outcast, Elizabeth, who promises to sponsor his work visa if he helps her organize an exhibition of her late husband's cryogenically frozen artwork.
