Sleep with Your Eyes Open

In "Dormir con los ojos abiertos" (Sleep with Your Eyes Open), Kai, played by Liao Kai Ro, arrives in Brazil's coastal city from Taiwan for holidays, only to have her world turned upside down when a broken air conditioner sends her into Fu Ang's umbrella store. There, she finds an unlikely friend and becomes entwined in the story of Xiaoxin, portrayed by Chen Xiao Xin, who shares a tale eerily mirroring Kai's own journey. As the rainy season fails to arrive, Kai discovers a connection between herself and Xiaoxin's struggles in a posh skyscraper.
