Civil War

In the near future, a group of war journalists attempt to survive while reporting the truth about the United States on the brink of civil war. With a despotic federal government and secessionist movements locked in conflict, Lee Smith, a jaded veteran war photographer, and journalist Joel from Reuters join forces with their mentor Sammy, a reporter from The New York Times, to interview the isolated president before rebels take the capital city. As they navigate treacherous landscapes and face unimaginable violence, Lee mentors a young aspiring photojournalist named Jessie, who finds herself increasingly desensitized to the horrors of war. Alongside a cast of characters caught in the crossfire, including two reporters from Hong Kong, Lee and Jessie must confront their own moral complexities as they struggle to capture the truth amidst chaos.
