A Christmas Carol

Ross Kemp stars as Eddie Scrooge, a cruel and unscrupulous loan shark who brings misery to the residents of a poor housing estate, in this modern adaptation of Charles Dickens' 1843 novella. The film follows Scrooge's transformation after being visited by three ghosts: Jacob Marley (Ray Fearon), his late father (Warren Mitchell), and future versions of himself, Bob Cratchit (Michael Maloney) and Tim Cratchit (Ben Tibber). On Christmas Eve, Scrooge is given a chance to change his ways and must decide what his own future will hold: death or redemption.
