Amos Oz: The Nature of Dreams

The film chronicles 2 years in the life of Amos Oz as he meets readers in Israel and around the world, working to promote the Two-State Solution to the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. Through these interactions, Oz engages in meaningful conversations with fellow writers such as Paul Auster and Nadine Gordimer, offers advice to Israeli President Shimon Peres, and conducts a long dialogue with Palestinian intellectual Sari Nusseibeh. The film also explores Oz's memoir "A Tale of Love and Darkness", which brings his family's biography and his own stations in life into the Jewish and Israeli collective history.
