Private eye Phillip Marlowe strolls into Kingsby Publications to submit his latest novel during the Christmas holidays, unaware that his reason for being there is about to become a deadly game of cat and mouse. A missing wife's case quickly turns into a web of deceit, murder, and corruption, as Marlowe navigates a complex plot that leads him from the dark alleys of Los Angeles to the treacherous waters of Little Fawn Lake.
