The Last Island

The film "The Last Island" (1990) tells the story of eight survivors who crash-land on a deserted island after their plane goes down. As they try to survive and find a way off the island, they realize that the world may have suffered a major disaster. The group faces internal conflicts, power struggles, and tragedy as they fight for survival, ultimately leaving only two women behind, Joanna (Shelagh McLeod) and Mrs. Godame (Patricia Hayes), who escape on a makeshift boat at the end of the film.
