The Girl with All the Gifts

In a post-apocalyptic future, a strange fungus has turned most of humanity into mindless, flesh-eating monsters. A scientist and a teacher, Dr. Caroline Caldwell and Helen Justineau, respectively, discover a young girl named Melanie who appears to be immune to the fungus. As they journey together with two soldiers, Sgt. Eddie Parks and Kieran Gallagher, they must navigate a treacherous landscape of infected humans and other survivors, all while trying to find a cure for the fungal infection that has devastated humanity. Along the way, Melanie reveals her true nature as a human-zombie hybrid, and the group must come to terms with their own mortality and the uncertain future of their world.
