Bad Day at Black Rock

One-armed war veteran John J. Macreedy steps off a train at the sleepy little town of Black Rock, where he begins to unravel a web of lies, secrecy, and murder. He encounters various suspicious locals, including powerful rancher Reno Smith, who reveals that Komoko, a Japanese-American interned during World War II, was killed by the community. Macreedy's own past and his determination to uncover the truth lead him to confront the town's evil secret, ultimately resulting in justice being served.
