Four Faces West

In this 1948 Western drama, cowboy Ross McEwen (Joel McCrea) quietly robs a bank in New Mexico's Santa Maria, then lets his hostage go free, but not before leaving behind an IOU signed by the notorious Jefferson Davis. As McEwen tries to escape, he catches the attention of a posse and a mysterious Mexican, leading to a tense manhunt that takes him across the desert, where he finds unexpected help from a kind-hearted nurse named Fay Hollister (Frances Dee).
