In the midst of World War II, a seemingly ordinary French restaurateur finds himself entangled in an extraordinary adventure when a British pilot crashes onto his attic roof and unwittingly steers him into the world of espionage and resistance fighting. The story takes place on the eve of the Battle of Normandy, amidst the chaos of occupation and black marketeering in rural France.
