The Don's Analyst

Robert Loggia as Don Vito Leoni is clinically depressed and decides to go legit, convincing everyone he's completely off the deep end, prompting his dysfunctional family to conspire and kidnap a "piasan" shrink to order him some psychotherapy. His two idiot sons, Robert Cicchini as Donnie Leoni and Joseph Bologna as Vincent DeMarco, play a role in this conspiracy. The film premiered on Showtime in 1997, pre-dating the similarly plotted "Analyze This".
