Joe Flaherty

Biography

Joseph Flaherty, born on June 21, 1941, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, began his career as a stage performer with the Second City Theater in Chicago, collaborating with notable comedians John Belushi and Harold Ramis. He later transitioned to television, starring in the Canadian sketch comedy SCTV from 1976 to 1984, where he won two Primetime Emmy Awards. Flaherty also appeared in film roles, including Happy Gilmore and Freaks and Geeks.
