Who's Minding the Store?

In "Who's Minding the Store?", Jerry Lewis stars as Norman Phiffier, a proud man who unknowingly becomes embroiled in a battle for love and social status when his girlfriend, Barbara Tuttle (Jill St. John), inherits the Tuttle Department Store fortune. As part of her mother's plan to drive them apart, Mrs. Tuttle hires Norman at the store, assigning him a series of impossible tasks. Despite hilarious mishaps, Norman proves himself "a man of character," ultimately winning over Barbara and reconciling with the Tuttles.
