When architect Stephen Booker loses his partnership, he finds himself in a precarious financial situation, leading him to unwittingly become embroiled in a daring scheme to rob one of London's biggest bank vaults. With money in short supply, Booker joins forces with Daniels, who has targeted the institution because it houses an impregnable subterranean vault within a short distance of a main sewer. As they execute their plan, a series of events unfolds that puts Booker's skills as an architect to the test.
