Alfred Lynch

Biography

Alfred Cornelius Lynch was a British actor born in Whitechapel, London, to a plumber father. He joined the Royal Court Theatre in 1958 and later transitioned to film and television, appearing in notable roles such as Sean Connery's On the Fiddle (1961) and The Hill (1965), as well as the Doctor Who serial The Curse of Fenric. Lynch read children's stories on Jackanory and appeared in films like The Krays (1990).
