"In Restless Dreams: The Music of Paul Simon" is a two-part documentary film about the life and career of Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Paul Simon, directed by Alex Gibney. The film premieres on MGM+ in 2024, offering a unique peek into Simon's entire career, from Tom & Jerry to Simon & Garfunkel and the triumphs of Graceland and Rhythm of the Saints. Featuring interviews with Simon himself, as well as appearances by his collaborators Art Garfunkel, Wynton Marsalis, Lorne Michaels, and Edie Brickell, the film explores themes of faith, mortality, and creativity amidst Simon's journey creating his new album, Seven Psalms.
