The Open Road

Carlton Garrett (Justin Timberlake), a minor-leaguer baseball player, embarks on a road trip to find his estranged father, legendary baseball player Kyle Garret (Jeff Bridges). After Carlton's mother falls ill and needs his father's help, the unlikely duo sets out from Ohio, navigating a series of misadventures along the way. As they try to repair their relationship, Lucy (Kate Mara) provides support, but her feelings for Carlton create tension.
