King of the Rocket Men

In 1949's thrilling Republic serial "King of the Rocket Men", Professor Millard dons a makeshift rocket suit and becomes Jeff King, aka Rocket Man, to help uncover an evil genius known only as Dr. Vulcan, who threatens to conquer the world by eliminating key scientists one by one. As Jeff King, he battles against henchmen and uses his advanced atomic-powered rocket backpack to save the day in action-packed chases and daring rescues across Los Angeles. With the help of reporter Glenda Thomas, Rocket Man must stop Dr. Vulcan's nefarious plans, including a catastrophic flooding of New York City, before it's too late.
