Straight Talk

Honest and straightforward small-town Shirlee Kenyon (Dolly Parton) chucks her boyfriend and heads for Chicago, where she accidentally becomes a successful radio talk show host as "Dr. Shirlee". She's hired on the spot after inadvertently hosting a problem phone-in show, but soon finds herself being pursued by local reporter Jack Russell (James Woods), who initially sets out to expose her truth, only to fall in love with her.
